Life isn't always a walk in the park. I have always asked myself so many times how do "happy people" get through a rough day? People who always seem happy are they just pretending to be happy most of the time? What is their secret? Are you saying that they don't try to be happy? They don’t chase happiness or ‘need’ happiness? What are the habits genuinely happy people typically have in common? We just want to land on the happier side, right ?! OK, here are some of the hacks happy people do differently: 1.Gratitude/attitude We need to have an attitude of gratitude. When we are noticing all the blessings in our life, it is almost impossible to be unhappy. Let’s see the world through thankful eyes. What can you do? keep a gratitude journal, write the blessings and awesomeness down girl!!! 2. You matter We need to stop to being afraid to put ourselves first. How can you take care of others, if you don’t take care of you first. Fact is when you’re happy, you have so much more to give. What can you do? You could start doing something nice for yourself today or this weekend. 3. Generosity Happiness does not result from what we get but from what we give. Giving makes us happy. Period! I am not talking about giving all your money away and buying gifts to others. You can give your time, your presence, your love etc. What can you do? Call a friend or family member you haven’t talk to in while. 4. Have fun Happy people have fun on a regular basis. They do and are interested in things that help them grow and learn. It’s important to experience and see and try new things! Trust me it helps us to stay inspired, excited and happy about life. What can you do? Try a new activity, go on a day trip somewhere cool – be creative! 5. Body and Soul Happy people take care of their mind and body and their soul. Yes focus on health, but it doesn’t just mean exercising. Happy people act like happy people. They smile a lot, they are engaged, they have an awsome level of energy and enthusiasm to what they do. What can you do? Smile more, greet strangers, take a walk or run, meditate, read a book. 6. Always finish what you started All of us have a lot of great ideas right?! But coming up with a great idea means absolutely nothing, if you don't execute on that. If you don't execute your ideas they die, therefore we need to bring our ideas to fruition. What can you do? Create a plan for your goals, step by step - oh baby :) 7. Be passionate. Happy people have found what they’re looking for, and they spend their time doing what they love. They have an ability to find their passions in life and pursue those passions to the fullest. What can you do? Stop searching and trying to find your passions. Just do the things you love and you are more likely to be successful, happier and healthier. Being happy is not a result of luck, or a circumstance or having money.
