Are you missing travel and looking for some inspiration? Here’s are my top 5 hotel pools in the world. Please note this is a  wish list, call it inspiration list, or travel vision board. A spectacular pool  with a beautiful scenery is a good reason to book a plane ticket and a hotel room. Here is my selection, I dare you to try not to be inspired.

1.) Hanging Gardens of Bali, Ubud

You have to fly to Ubud, Bali, Indonesia, to dive into one of the two infinity pools of the five-star Hanging Gardens of Bali Hotel, nestled in a deep valley. The pools, with straight and wavy shapes, are lined with the local volcanic stone called batu chandi. Designed to resemble the paddy fields typical of the area and surrounded by a green landscape that mimics the jungle. The hotel offers 44 private villas decorated in Balinese style.

2.) MARINA SANDS BAY, SINGAPUR

Imagine yourself swimming in an infinity pool 57 floors up overlooking one of the most beautiful cities in Asia. Sounds incredible right? After your swim, sunbathe on a luxurious poolside lounger, or relax in the shade of a palm tree with a glass of Mimosa or champagne in hand. Well, you should know that the only way to swim in the Marina Bay Sands pool is you are a hotel guest. Price per night ain’t cheap but let me dream it, I can still save the money right!! Well there is still the option to buy a ticket to the SkyPark observation deck and to grab a drink at the bar, but honestly I have take a swim one day world’s largest rooftop infinity pool.

3.) FOUR SEASONS SAFARI LODGE – TANZANIA

The Four Seasons Safari Lodge is located deep in the heart of Tanzania’s wildlife reserve, the Serengeti – where the Big 5, the lion, the leopard, the buffalo, the elephant and rhinoceros – run free on the endless and landscape. The lodge is located next to an animal watering hole, where you can watch families of elephants stop for their morning drink as you as you sip your own out on your room’s private balcony or take a dip in the magnificent  infinity pool. However I am ready for my next adventure.

4.) Grace Santorini, Santorini, Greece

There are pools with views, and then there are pools with views but this is the kind of views I am talking about.
Santorini has always be one of dream travel destination. When I saw this huge infinity pool at the Grace Hotel on the Greek island of Santorini, I immediately started dreaming.
His hotel is situated on a clifftop and the wonderful azure waters the pool fuse into one with the brilliant blue of the Aegean Sea. Ready to take an early evening dip in this pool, and you’ll be watching the sunset on the horizon in a blaze of fiery colors.

5.) Resort Jade Mountain, St. Lucia

It is believed that there’s no other hotel on St. Lucia like Resort Jade Mountain, which has one of St. Lucia’s exquisite infinity pool rooms. This is a quiet, isolated property that has spacious suites and views that are photo worthy. The suites are well-appointed with private infinity pools, which is perhaps a significant feature of the property. Stand anywhere around the resort and you will find that you are offered unparalleled views of greenery and the vast ocean.
